Presented by: OrganicFarmNZ – a national organisation providing low-cost organic certification. OFNZ is regionally based and provides a strong mentor and support network. Home gardeners, community and school gardens, through to lifestyle blocks and commercial growers can benefit from OFNZ certification.

   farming from certified organic growers

• Visit a certified organic property

• Guided tours of sustainable and native gardens covering: an

  introduction to permaculture; creating a self-sustaining native

  area; local gardening history and useful/edible native plants

• Speakers will cover a range of topics including: organics in New

  Zealand; the certification process; composting; seed saving;

  animal husbandry; the importance of being GE free
